  • Understand your triggers. Try to identify the people or things that trigger you to lie. It will help you create a strategy to avoid them or deal with them as needed. 
  • Catch yourself in the act. Whenever you are about to lie, there is a small window of realisation. Try to catch yourself just before you are about to lie and stop while you can. Consider the worst that can happen if you don’t lie and try to make a change.
