About Diana

Drawing on 22 years of experience as a psychotherapist working across a wide range of issues and age groups, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, abandonment, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My extensive training and experience have equipped me to help clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen their autonomy, and take meaningful ownership of their lives.

I was drawn to therapy after caring for my mother through her mental health challenges while navigating a lack of adequate support. That experience deepened my empathy and inspired my path into psychology. It strengthened my self-awareness and commitment to personal growth. Although the journey of healing can be challenging, it is ultimately transformative and deeply rewarding. I am naturally passionate about the value of therapy and believe everyone can benefit from experiencing therapy at some point in their lives. At the heart of effective therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. Trust is essential, and healing begins when you feel truly heard and understood. I deeply value the therapeutic journey and consider it a privilege to witness clients develop greater self-awareness and confidence over time. With the right support and openness to new perspectives, therapy can be a powerful catalyst for growth and transformation.

My therapeutic approach is both professional and approachable. I tailor each session to the individual so clients feel comfortable and supported. I maintain clear boundaries to ensure emotional safety within the therapeutic space, including when working online. Clients often describe me as professional, knowledgeable, wise, and someone they feel safe working with. I recognise that online therapy can feel unfamiliar at first and welcome whatever feelings clients bring. Sessions are typically 50 minutes, and I work at each client’s pace so they never feel rushed. I am attentive to personality, communication style, and emotional cues, asking thoughtful questions to strengthen the therapeutic relationship.

Session Types

Individual

When working with individuals, I take a holistic view of the person, considering their lifestyle, background, lived experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we create a clear plan of action that is reviewed regularly to ensure progress. I primarily use a person-centred approach while working integratively to deepen understanding of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Couple

When working with couples and families, I explore relational dynamics, family history, attachment styles, communication patterns, conflict management, beliefs, and values. Using a solution-focused lens alongside an integrative approach, I support healthier and more constructive relationships.
