About Clare

I’m an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist offering a warm, grounded space to explore whatever feels difficult or unresolved.

My approach combines depth and practicality, helping you get to the root of emotional patterns rather than simply managing symptoms. Together we work to uncover what’s blocking your natural capacity for connection, meaning and wellbeing, so that genuine and lasting change can emerge.   My Style & How I Work Having experienced my own transformative journey through therapy, I know first-hand how life-changing the process can be. It allowed me to reconnect with an inner sense of joy, creativity and self-trust - changes that rippled into every area of life, from relationships to wellbeing. It’s now a great privilege to offer that same depth of understanding to others on their own path of growth and healing. As a transpersonal therapist, I believe that everyone has an innate capacity to heal, grow and reconnect with who they truly are. Often what keeps us feeling stuck are the patterns and beliefs formed through early conditioning - the ways we learned to adapt in order to feel safe or loved. Together, we work to gently unravel these old stories and rediscover what is authentic and alive underneath them. For me, the most rewarding part of this work is witnessing those moments of reconnection - when a client begins to feel more at home in themselves, more open to life, and more able to meet it with clarity, compassion and courage.

I’d describe my style as gentle yet direct, creating a space that feels warm, grounded and real. I don’t hide behind professional distance, but meet clients human to human - with compassion, honesty and a touch of humour when it helps. My aim is for sessions to feel both safe and alive; a place where you can explore the deeper layers of what’s happening while also feeling supported and understood. Clients often say that working with me feels clarifying and grounding, even when we’re touching painful or complex material. I bring both structure and intuition to the process - guiding where needed, but allowing space for insight to emerge naturally. In an online setting, I’m particularly attuned to building trust and connection. I take care to establish a sense of presence and safety from the first session, ensuring that you feel seen, heard and met exactly as you are.

Sessions are structured but fluid, allowing space for reflection, emotion, and insight while ensuring you feel grounded and supported throughout. My aim across all formats is to create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and transformative - a space where genuine healing and understanding can emerge.

Key Focus Areas

I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, addiction, loss, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in old patterns or beliefs - repeating familiar dynamics that no longer serve them. Together, we work to understand where these patterns come from and how they can be released, allowing greater freedom and authenticity to emerge. I am particularly suited to supporting those who are introspective, creative, or spiritually curious, as well as clients navigating questions of identity, purpose, or meaning.

Therapeutic approach

My approach is integrative and transpersonal, meaning I draw from a variety of psychological models while keeping you, not the technique, at the centre of our work. I believe that genuine healing happens when we understand the deeper roots of our struggles and begin to reconnect with what is true and alive within us. At its heart, my work is about helping you feel safe enough to explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. Together we uncover how early experiences and beliefs may still be shaping your life today, and gently create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others. Alongside this depth work, I use methods such as somatic awareness, inner child and parts work, dream exploration, guided visualisation, and trauma release techniques. These help the mind and body process what words alone sometimes can’t, supporting emotional regulation, insight and lasting change. Because every client is unique, I adapt my approach intuitively, balancing reflection and action, depth and practicality to meet you exactly where you are.

My approach helps people move from self-criticism or confusion toward a deeper sense of self-acceptance and inner peace. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy (UKCP/BACP accredited) from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE), alongside an MSc and an LLB. This training integrates psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and transpersonal approaches, giving me a strong foundation for both depth work and practical, results-oriented therapy.
