About Alexander
Embark on a Transformative Journey
Work with an experienced and compassionate therapist offering a choice between traditional Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and the creative exploration of Art Therapy.
With over 12 years of experience in mental health, I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to help you navigate challenges and foster personal growth. Sessions are tailored to your unique needs, drawing from psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and Jungian psychology. Whether you prefer verbal exploration or creative expression, online 50-minute sessions are designed to provide both flexibility and accessibility. Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, explore your goals, and understand the challenges that brought you to therapy. We’ll discuss your needs, past experiences with mental health, and any specific concerns, creating a personalized approach to support your well-being. I work with adults and young people, offering therapeutic support, parental guidance, clinical supervision, and mental health training. Together, we’ll explore your story, uncover insights, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Key Focus Areas
I’ve supported clients of different ages, genders, ethnic backgrounds, and cultures, both locally and internationally, addressing a wide range of needs including trauma, attachment difficulties, psychosis, and personality disorders.
Therapeutic approach
Art psychotherapy combines creative expression with talking and reflection to help access feelings and memories that words sometimes can’t reach alone. You don’t need to be “good at art” to benefit - it’s about expression and connection, not technique. Alongside this, I integrate psychodynamic and Jungian theories - which explore symbols, dreams, and the deeper layers of the unconscious to support healing and self-understanding - as well as Eastern approaches - such as meditation and mindfulness - that help calm the mind, reduce trauma symptoms, and support new perspectives on difficult experiences. These frameworks deepen the process and provide additional pathways for insight and healing.
