About
I work as a psychodynamic counsellor and ACT practitioner. Helping people get more out of life is what I feel passionate about (alongside walks in nature with my dog).
Starting therapy and choosing a therapist can feel daunting. You may know why you need help, or you may feel a general feeling of unhappiness or distress. I will provide you with a safe, calm, and non-judgemental space to explore and process what is troubling you.
I trained as a psychodynamic counsellor as I believe to understand your distress and why we react as we do, we need to explore how our lives have been shaped by our past. I will work alongside you with gentle curiosity and compassion to help you understand relationship patterns, unconscious thoughts, feelings and past experiences and how they affect your present life. With deeper understanding, you no longer need to be defined by your past. I also use ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy) to help you look at what matters to you and how to take the steps to a more meaningful life.
I offer counselling for adults (18+), both online and in-person. In-person sessions are available in North London. I provide short-term and open-ended counselling, depending on what is best for you.
My areas of expertise include:
• Abuse
• Anxiety
• Bereavement
• Depression or feeling low
• Divorce + Separation
• Health problems
• Loneliness
• Loss
• Low Self-Esteem
• Finding meaning in life
• Parenting problems
• Relationship Issues
• Work issues
• Stress
