My Style & How I Work
I will work collaboratively with you, to understand your therapy needs and your desired outcome for each session, and support you with that aim, Each session should essentially feel like a conversation. A conversation that is manifested by curiosity, respect and understanding where the focus is on you.
My Story & What Drives Me
I became a therapist because I wanted to find better ways to communicate to others, understand myself and engage in deep conversations with meaning and purpose. I believe therapy can help us personally develop. Through self-awareness and compassion, our self-esteem and self-love grow and we have that for ourselves as it helps us to foster healthier relationships with others. I find working with clients so rewarding, especially when they get those lightbulb moments through the reflective work we've been doing together and it all just clicks!
Through my own counselling journey and personal development, I have managed to foster a deeper understanding of myself and a healthier relationships with others and this, in turn deeply informs my practice.
Types of Therapy I Offer
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs, including Integrative Counselling and Integrative IFS, which draw from multiple perspectives to create a holistic framework for healing. I also use Positive Psychology to build on strengths and cultivate wellbeing, Resource-Based Counselling to help clients draw on inner and external supports, and Solution-Focused Therapy to encourage practical steps toward change. In addition, I incorporate Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring and strengthening their motivation for personal growth.
