I work with a wide variety of mental health issues such as general anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, complex trauma, depression, self-esteem and confidence issues. Utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and solution-focused techniques, I aim to help clients forge their own path and create fulfilling lives for themselves. By identifying values and goals important to you, we are able to devise an effective programme that supports living in a more meaningful way. You may want to challenge anxious beliefs and assumptions, create and maintain new habits, modify self-constructs, learn how to better regulate emotions, or improve relationship skills.
In my practice, I predominantly use CBT and ACT to help you understand driving motivations, unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and improve self-awareness skills. This allows us to prioritise Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Efficient (SMART) goals. Together, we will work to cultivate a growth mindset that feels authentic to you and lends itself to values-driven behaviour.

I am a qualified counsellor originally from South Africa, now based in the UK, with a Master’s degree in Psychology and certification as a Level 2 BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT) practitioner. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and designed to support individuals in overcoming challenges such as trauma, anxiety, phobias, depression, and other personal hurdles. I specialise in BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT), a solution-focused psychotherapy that works by addressing the underlying causes of issues, preventing them from recurring rather than simply managing symptoms.
With experience in a wide range of areas, including weight management, confidence building, and overcoming procrastination, I provide effective, evidence-based support to empower my clients toward lasting change.
Feel free to reach out for a consultation to discuss what you’re experiencing. I’ll be happy to explain how BWRT can support you and explore how we can work together to meet your needs.

I offer a regular, confidential, and non-judgmental online space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can work through difficult life events, helping you make sense of them and create meaningful changes in your life.
I specialise in supporting individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, loss, and low self-esteem. These challenges can profoundly impact your emotional well-being, self-image, and relationships with others. By working together, we can uncover how these experiences have shaped your present and find ways to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, which focuses on understanding how past experiences and unconscious processes influence how you think, feel, and act in the present. I incorporate creative methods, using both art and words, to help you explore these patterns and gain deeper self-awareness. This creative process often allows for the expression of emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I am qualified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a highly effective approach for processing traumatic memories, and MBT (Mentalization based therapy), which focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and emotional understanding. My training in art therapy and psychotherapy adds a unique dimension to my work, allowing for a rich and holistic exploration of both conscious and unconscious processes.
With over 20 years of experience in adult mental health within the NHS and private practice, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances. I bring warmth, empathy, and professionalism to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel genuinely heard and understood.
Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or seeking greater insight into yourself and your life, I am here to help.
